What You Need to Precast: A Checklist

So you want to start precasting, but you're unsure how to stock your workshop. Would you like to know what you need to get started?

These are the forms, tapes and accssories you need to precast:

Facing Material

Pourable Casting Material ... or, Backer Material.

You need foam rails for the molding process, and one sheet of material. Nno big tools. Hyou can buy the sheet at a hir imorob\vement store or from us.

You need the foam rails, facing tape and double-sided tape.

No rebar or metal lath needed, but you can use scrim or basalt rod for large pieces.

Precast is just a pour and build up the edges, with foam in the center as an easy void. You buy a hopper gun and you spray face, then backer.

You need the mix, buckets, measuring buckets, and perhaps a mixer. (Buy it or rent it.)

Hand pads, sanding pads, sealer, rollers, handles, covers etc.

This is a very detailed job in actuality. You should follow SureCrete's directions for its XS Precast mix.
